Privacy Policy: OMAA for iPhone & iPad

This policy covers the OMAA app for iPhone and iPad, distributed on the App Store. It is a media player: it plays a playlist you already have and does not provide any content.

Accounts

You don't need an account. Using the app or subscribing to OMAA Pro needs no sign-in, and the app never asks for your name. Signing in is optional, for people who already have an OMAA account (see below).

OMAA Pro subscription

OMAA Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment: we never see your Apple ID, your name or your payment details.

• RevenueCat checks your purchase with Apple and keeps your subscription status. It receives an anonymous customer ID created by the app and the App Store transaction (product, dates, price and storefront country). No name or email.
• Our server (api.omaa.live) links your subscription to an OMAA ID you can use on your other devices. It stores that OMAA ID, your plan and its expiry date and, for each device, a random ID created by the app, the platform (iOS) and the app version.
• Signing in to an existing OMAA account. If you sign in, the app sends your OMAA ID and PIN to our server to check them, with the same random device ID, platform and app version, and receives the playlists saved in that account. We store the PIN only as a secure hash. The first time an account with an email address on file is signed in to, you are asked for that address once, to confirm the account is yours; it is compared with the one we already hold and not stored again. Forgot PIN? emails a reset link to that address. Settings > Subscription > Sign out of OMAA account signs this device out.

Purchase data is used only to provide your subscription, never for advertising or tracking. Cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. To have your OMAA ID and device records deleted, email hello@omaa.live.

What stays on your device

• Your playlist login (server, username and password, or M3U link) is stored in the Keychain on your device and sent only to the server you entered. If you sign in to an OMAA account that has playlists saved in it (on our website or from our other apps), our server sends those playlists to this device so you don't have to type them again. Playlists you add on the device are never sent to us.
• Favourites, watch progress, settings and the catalogue cache are stored only on your device.

Settings > Disconnect playlist removes your playlist and its login. Deleting the app removes everything.

Services the app uses

• Your playlist provider's server, which you choose. We are not a party to that connection.
• TMDB (The Movie Database), to show posters, cast and ratings. The app sends TMDB the title it is looking up, not your login. Data provided by TMDB.
• Sentry, for anonymous crash reports: the error, device model, iOS version and app version. Addresses, logins and hostnames are removed on the device before a report is sent.
• Mixpanel, for anonymous usage statistics, such as “playback started” or “search used”, with the app version, platform, language and a random identifier that Mixpanel creates for this install. It is not linked to you and is not used for tracking across apps. No names, logins, addresses, search text or titles are sent.
• Google Cast, only if you tap the cast button. Local Network permission is requested only then.

Crash reports and usage statistics are controlled by Settings > Share anonymous usage data. Turn it off and neither is sent.

What we do not do

No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling of data, and no access to your location, contacts, camera or photos.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

الحسابات

لا تحتاج إلى حساب. استخدام التطبيق أو الاشتراك في OMAA Pro لا يتطلب تسجيل دخول، ولا يطلب التطبيق اسمك أبدًا. تسجيل الدخول اختياري لمن لديه حساب OMAA بالفعل (انظر أدناه).

اشتراك OMAA Pro

يُباع OMAA Pro عبر الشراء داخل التطبيق من Apple. تتولّى Apple عملية الدفع، ولا نطّلع أبدًا على حساب Apple ID الخاص بك أو اسمك أو بيانات الدفع.

• RevenueCat يتحقّق من عملية الشراء لدى Apple ويحتفظ بحالة اشتراكك. يتلقّى معرّف عميل مجهولًا ينشئه التطبيق، وبيانات معاملة App Store (المنتج والتواريخ والسعر وبلد المتجر)، دون اسم أو بريد إلكتروني.
• خادمنا (api.omaa.live) يربط اشتراكك بمعرّف OMAA تستخدمه على أجهزتك الأخرى. يحتفظ بهذا المعرّف وباقتك وتاريخ انتهائها، ويحتفظ لكل جهاز بمعرّف عشوائي ينشئه التطبيق، وبالنظام (iOS)، وبإصدار التطبيق.
• تسجيل الدخول إلى حساب OMAA موجود: إذا سجّلت الدخول، يرسل التطبيق معرّف OMAA والرقم السري إلى خادمنا للتحقق منهما، مع المعرّف العشوائي نفسه والنظام وإصدار التطبيق، ويستلم قوائم التشغيل المحفوظة في هذا الحساب. نحتفظ بالرقم السري بصيغة مشفّرة آمنة فقط. وعند أول تسجيل دخول إلى حساب مسجَّل له بريد إلكتروني، يُطلب منك هذا البريد مرة واحدة للتأكد من أن الحساب لك؛ ويُقارَن بالبريد المحفوظ لدينا ولا يُخزَّن مرة أخرى. خيار نسيت الرقم السري؟ يرسل رابط إعادة التعيين إلى هذا البريد. ومن الإعدادات > الاشتراك > تسجيل الخروج من حساب OMAA يُسجَّل خروج هذا الجهاز.

تُستخدم بيانات الشراء فقط لتقديم اشتراكك، ولا تُستخدم أبدًا للإعلانات أو التتبّع. يمكنك الإلغاء في أي وقت من إعدادات حسابك في App Store. ولحذف معرّف OMAA وسجلات أجهزتك، راسلنا على hello@omaa.live.

ما يبقى على جهازك

• بيانات دخول قائمتك (الخادم واسم المستخدم وكلمة المرور، أو رابط M3U) تُحفظ في سلسلة المفاتيح على جهازك ولا تُرسل إلا إلى الخادم الذي أدخلته. إذا سجّلت الدخول إلى حساب OMAA محفوظة فيه قوائم تشغيل (على موقعنا أو من تطبيقاتنا الأخرى)، يرسل خادمنا هذه القوائم إلى هذا الجهاز حتى لا تضطر إلى إدخالها مرة أخرى. أما القوائم التي تضيفها على الجهاز فلا تُرسل إلينا أبدًا.
• المفضّلة وتقدّم المشاهدة والإعدادات وذاكرة الكتالوج المؤقتة تُحفظ على جهازك فقط.

الإعدادات > فصل قائمة التشغيل تزيل قائمتك وبيانات دخولها. وحذف التطبيق يزيل كل شيء.

الخدمات التي يستخدمها التطبيق

• خادم مزوّد قائمتك الذي تختاره أنت. لسنا طرفًا في هذا الاتصال.
• TMDB لعرض الملصقات وطاقم العمل والتقييمات. يرسل التطبيق إلى TMDB اسم العمل الذي يبحث عنه، لا بيانات دخولك. البيانات مقدمة من TMDB.
• Sentry لتقارير الأعطال المجهولة: الخطأ وطراز الجهاز وإصدار iOS وإصدار التطبيق. تُحذف العناوين وبيانات الدخول وأسماء الخوادم على الجهاز قبل الإرسال.
• Mixpanel لإحصاءات استخدام مجهولة، مثل «بدء التشغيل» أو «استخدام البحث»، مع إصدار التطبيق والنظام واللغة ومعرّف عشوائي ينشئه Mixpanel لهذا التثبيت، غير مرتبط بك ولا يُستخدم للتتبّع عبر التطبيقات. لا تُرسل أسماء أو بيانات دخول أو عناوين أو نصوص بحث أو أسماء أعمال.
• Google Cast فقط إذا ضغطت زر الإرسال، ولا يُطلب إذن الشبكة المحلية إلا حينها.

يتحكّم خيار الإعدادات > مشاركة بيانات الاستخدام المجهولة في تقارير الأعطال وإحصاءات الاستخدام. أوقفه فلا يُرسل أيّ منهما.

ما لا نفعله

لا إعلانات، ولا تتبّع عبر التطبيقات أو المواقع، ولا بيع للبيانات، ولا وصول إلى موقعك أو جهات اتصالك أو الكاميرا أو الصور.

الأطفال

التطبيق غير موجّه للأطفال ولا يجمع بياناتهم عن قصد.
